Hi, I’m Lucia, an MRes Alternative Protein student from Spain. I am working on Fusarium Venenatum. I’m interested in the intersection of food science, technology and bioengineering. For my undergraduate final thesis, I joined the Sorensen Group to study miraculin, a novel sweet protein.
Outside the lab, I love playing volleyball and cooking with friends. I’m also passionate about photography and traveling.
