I am a biomathematician with a PhD in applied mathematics, working at the intersection of biology, computation, and complex systems. My research and professional experience span working alongside synthetic biologists, where I develop and apply mathematical models to understand and engineer biological processes, as well as software development and machine learning engineering. I am particularly interested in leveraging AI to advance scientific discovery, especially in biological systems. My work focuses on building principled, data-driven models that bridge theory and experiment, with an emphasis on interpretability, scalability, and real-world applicability.
