Hello! My name is Soleil and I am from France. I am currently completing a Master’s degree in Food Technology at Wageningen University & Research, with specialisations in Food Fermentation and Biotechnology and Ingredient Functionality and Design. During my internship at the RLA Lab, I am working with Chang-Keun Kang on bacterial cellulose materials. The project explores how yeast can be integrated into the cellulose structure to introduce new characteristics and make the material more appealing as an edible product.
Outside the lab, I enjoy going to the gym, trying new sports, and experimenting with new recipes.
